Nothing is sold here and no payment is taken, so there is almost nothing to collect. Here is the almost.
- § 01
What we collect
When you claim a nothing we store: the display name you type, your dedication line if you write one, your email address only if you choose to give one, and a serial number. None of it is ever published. If you donate on Ko-fi and make the donation public, Ko-fi sends us your name and your message, and we keep exactly those two things to show them on the Wall of Nothing. Ko-fi also sends your email and the amount; we discard both.
- § 02
Why we collect it
Claim data is used to generate your certificate and to email it to you if you asked for it, and for nothing else. Your email is never shown publicly, ever. Ko-fi data is used only to show your name and message on the Wall.
- § 03
Public display is your choice, made on Ko-fi
Nothing you type on this site is published. The only public list is the Wall of Nothing, and you get there only by choosing a public donation on Ko-fi. Choose private, and we receive nothing about you. To come off the Wall, write via the contact page and you are removed immediately. Owning nothing anonymously is a valid lifestyle.
- § 04
Data processors
Supabase (database hosting: display name, dedication, email if you gave one, serial number). Resend (email delivery: your address and the certificate). Vercel (website hosting: standard server logs). That is the entire list. There is no analytics, no tracker, no advertising and no cookie of any kind, which is why this site has never asked you to accept anything. If you choose to donate, the donation platform is an independent controller of whatever you give it: we never see your payment details.
- § 05
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access, correction, or deletion of your data at any time via the contact page. Deleting your data does not delete your nothing. Nothing is forever.
- § 06
Data retention
Claim records are kept while the piece is online, so that a certificate can be reissued. There are no invoices and no accounting records, because there are no sales, and no analytics history, because nothing is measured. Public display lasts until you remove yourself or ask us to.
- § 07
